You can delete your Score Stack account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. It takes a minute and cannot be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open The Score Stack and sign in. This works the same on iPhone, Android and the web app at thescorestack.com.
- On My Groups, tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.
- Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete.
You are signed out straight away and cannot sign back in to that account.
If you own a group
The confirmation lists any groups you own. If other people still use one, transfer it to someone else first: open the group, go to Members, tap the person, and choose Transfer Ownership. Otherwise the group is left without an owner. Any paid plan on a group you own is cancelled when your account is deleted.
Can’t sign in?
Email support@thescorestack.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Straight away: your account and sign-in, your name, email address and profile photo, and your personal settings.
- Within 90 days: any remaining copies in backups and logs.
What is kept
- Content you shared into a group, such as music, files, announcements and messages, belongs to that group and may stay visible to its members while the group exists.
- Billing records, for up to 7 years, because tax law requires it.
Delete some data, keep your account
You can delete your own messages, uploaded music and files, and your markings on sheet music from inside the app, and leave a group from its settings. For anything else, email support@thescorestack.com and tell us what you would like removed.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
